The opaque PC is extensively used in the transport machine building, civil engineering, instrument-making and other industries. The transparent PC sheets are used as the protection coating in those applications where glass and other plastics are not safe enough. These applications vary from the anti-vandal fencing of the stadiums and noise screens along the arterial roads to the protective equipment of the armed forces and shrouds of the museum rarities.
